The Private Virtual Data Centres include the following services and features: 

  • Creation of front office environments for third party users 

  • Third party user control over processing, storage and network resources 

  • Third party user control over security credentials, end-user access rights and firewalls 

  • Third party user control over virtual machines, including operating systems 

  • Third party user control over deployment of applications within the virtual machines 

  • Third party user access to standard virtual machine templates 

  • Third party user access to Organisational and Public Catalogues 

  •  Third party user control over ‘Application Repositories’ for organisational or application datasets. 

There is significant flexibility in how these Private Virtual Data Centre environments may be configured to meet the needs of third party users.
